Washington | Former CIA director Mike Pompeo has been appointed as a strategic adviser to DYNE Maritime, the Australian-founded, US-based venture capital company investing in technologies related to the AUKUS military intelligence-sharing pact.
DYNE Maritime, started by former JPMorgan investment banker Matthew Kibble, an Australian, and former US Navy surface warfare and intelligence officer Tom Hennessey, launched the $US100 million ($157 million) fund in October to invest in dual-use technologies – those with military and civilian applications.
