Fear and loathing in Las Vegas as Bloomberg cops the heat
The billionaire and former mayor of New York looked stunned by the ferocity of the assault by his fellow Democrats. It brought to mind the old Mike Tyson adage that everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
Washington | Michael Bloomberg, who for more than 10 weeks hid behind a $US400 million ($603 million) advertising barrage, was mere minutes into his first live appearance on a Democratic debate stage when Elizabeth Warren swung her first punch.
“I’d like to talk about who we’re running against - a billionaire who calls women fat broads and horse-faced lesbians, and no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump; I’m talking about mayor Bloomberg,” Senator Warren said.
