Biden fights to save his presidency in fiery State of the Union
Washington | President Joe Biden has lambasted rival Donald Trump as an “outrageous and dangerous” risk to American and global democracy and stability in a fiery State of the Union speech pitched to American voters ahead of the US election.
In a televised address in Congress on Friday (AEDT), Mr Biden drew sharp distinctions between himself and Mr Trump by taking credit for the strong US economy that has confounded expectations and blaming his predecessor for running up massive deficits, and slashing taxes for the wealthy and corporations.
