Washington | Donald Trump has indicated solid support for the AUKUS submarine deal, according to former prime minister Scott Morrison, who met with the former president at Trump Tower in New York on Wednesday AEST.
Mr Trump, who is sitting through the fourth week of his criminal “hush money” trial in Manhattan, squeezed in a meeting with Mr Morrison, who earlier this year quit Australia’s parliament to join a defence company run by former Central Intelligence Agency director Mike Pompeo.
