Washington | President Donald Trump signed an executive order placing sanctions on International Criminal Court officials who investigate the United States and its allies including Israel.
The court faced backlash from the US and Israel in November over its decision to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defence minister, Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the course of its conflict with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
