Liberal Senator Dave Sharma has taken aim at Cricket Australia chairman Mike Baird, urging the former NSW premier to take action against Cricket South Africa, after accusing them of antisemitism.

But Mr Baird told The Australian Financial Review that “the first time I’m seeing this letter is ten minutes ago, from you,” and said that the cricketing body was seeking clarification on the decision to relieve the Jewish captain of South Africa’s under-19s team, due to security concerns.
