Suddenly, Israel has free rein to strike Iran hard
The damage Israel has inflicted on Hezbollah has stripped Tehran of much of its deterrence against a wider Israeli attack, analysts and security experts said.
Jerusalem | Israel has a freer hand to respond forcefully to Iran’s missile barrage on Tuesday (Wednesday AEST) than it did in April, security analysts and former officials say.
Its retaliation for the previous attack was a largely symbolic strike against an air defence installation in Iran.
