Israel-Hamas tangled up in Ivy League identity politics row

Alexander DownerColumnistIt was instructive to watch the three Ivy League presidents handle a straightforward question from a member of the US Congress: do you regard calling for the genocide of Jews as a violation of the university’s harassment rules?
That’s a pretty straightforward question. Each of the presidents replied that it “depended on the context”. Calling for the genocide of Jews depends on the context? I wondered if calling for all African to be sent to Africa would “depend on the context”? Or would calling for the genocide of Native Americans “depend on the context”?
