London | British Prime Minister Liz Truss will look to keep Australia high on her country’s list of priority relationships, but relations with Canberra are unlikely to be as close as those forged by Anthony Albanese’s Liberal Party predecessors.
Ms Truss steered the Australia-UK free trade agreement almost all the way to its conclusion as trade secretary, and as foreign secretary shared her leader Boris Johnson’s enthusiasm for closer ties.
