The women’s 200m freestyle final is shaping up as the mother of all club meets between training partners Ariarne Titmus and Molly O’Callaghan after the pair qualified for the final in their semi-final meet.
Twenty three-year-old Titmus and O’Callaghan, 20, both cruised into the 200m freestyle final as the top-two qualifiers. Titmus won narrowly ahead of O’Callaghan but dismissed any significance of the result.
