London | A street sweeper and a tourist have died in Spain and pensioners in Italy have been told to find shelter in museums and pools as the deadly heatwave continues in Europe.
Temperatures in the UK have not reached the highs seen in Europe but an amber alert for extreme heat, in place since Friday, remains in five regions.
