London | Prime Minister Keir Starmer told Britain’s restive voters that his new government would “fight until you believe again”, vowing to work towards national renewal in his first official remarks after his Labour Party’s landslide victory.
In a speech that repeatedly emphasised moderate politics and stability after a turbulent 14 years of Tory rule, he said Britain needed to rediscover its identity and undergo a wider reset. He promised to try and restore trust in politics, and to serve all voters.
