Queen to help pay $22m settlement in Prince Andrew assault case
London | Prince Andrew will pay Virginia Giuffre, who claims he sexually abused her as a teenager, more than £12 million ($22 million) using money from the Queen.
It was announced on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT) that Prince Andrew, 61, had reached an out-of-court settlement with Ms Giuffre, which means he will no longer face a jury trial on claims that he sexually abused and raped her on three separate occasions when she was 17 years old.
