London | King Charles’ unifying tour of the United Kingdom on Tuesday took him to the country’s most disunited region, Northern Ireland, where he met senior politicians who want to end his reign there.
At a ceremony for leaders from across Northern Ireland’s political and religious divides, the King said his mother, the Queen, had “felt deeply the significance of the role she herself played in bringing together those whom history had separated”.
