London | Britain has rushed forward a seasonal campaign of COVID-19 booster jabs for vulnerable people, amid fears that the new “pirola” variant could be spreading quickly and may evade immunity.
The National Health Service will start vaccinating the over-65s, vulnerable groups and frontline healthcare workers on September 11, a month earlier than planned.
