London | On his first full day in office, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged the EU to rethink its refusal to renegotiate the Brexit deal, but didn't get any warm welcome from across the English Channel.
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker told him in a phone call that the divorce deal negotiated by his predecessor, Theresa May, was the best and the only deal he'll get with the 27 remaining members in the bloc, an EU spokeswoman said on Thursday (Friday AEST).
