Biden vows weapons, aid for Ukraine ‘until they prevail’
Fasano, Italy | President Joe Biden and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, unveiled a range of measures on Thursday (Friday AEST) meant to bolster support for Ukraine as the war with Russia slogs on, attempting to showcase continued broad international support despite the war’s uncertain course.
Mr Biden and Mr Zelensky signed a 10-year security agreement hours after leaders of the Group of Seven major democracies announced a plan to tap frozen Russian assets and provide Ukraine with $US50 billion ($75 billion) in additional funds.
