Paris | French riot police deployed tear gas and baton-charged supporters in Paris in skirmishes during the Champions League final.
Thousands of supporters gathered in the French capital to watch Paris Saint-Germain face Inter Milan in Munich, both on a beam-back at the Parc des Princes and around the city, but it descended into scenes that prompted Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau to say “barbarians have taken to the streets of Paris”.
