Singapore | Foreign Minister Penny Wong has had to slow her clean out of political appointments made by the previous government and extend the term of former NSW premier Barry O’Farrell as High Commissioner in India.

Last year Senator Wong announced the Albanese government would reverse the last administration’s approach to diplomatic appointments that had placed former politicians in plum jobs.
