Bangkok | US Defence Secretary Peter Hegseth has hit back at Beijing’s sabre-rattling over a widening trade war between the superpowers, saying his country, too, was prepared to engage in conventional battle with China.
Hegseth said on Fox and Friends that the US was “prepared” and that “those who long for peace must prepare for war”.
