US-China stability ‘profoundly important’, Raimondo says

Beijing | US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo stressed the importance of stable ties between the world’s biggest economies on a visit to Beijing as she tries to expand business ties during her visit to China this week.
Addressing Chinese counterpart Wang Wentao on Monday, Ms Raimondo said the US sought “healthy competition” and had no intention to hinder China’s economic progress.
