Rapid tests good news for pandemic-ravaged Asia

Jakarta/Sydney | Rapid coronavirus tests cannot come fast enough for hard-hit countries in East Asia and the Pacific, where the World Bank has warned of a growing class of "COVID poor".
The World Health Organisation has helped co-ordinate the purchase of 120 million tests that can detect the coronavirus in 15 to 30 minutes and can be administered without specialist equipment or skilled staff.
