Missile selfies: a snapshot of China’s future under Xi
Beijing | Chinese citizens took selfies in front of a massive intercontinental ballistic missile on display in Beijing this week, part of a sweeping propaganda exhibition designed to trumpet Xi Jinping’s achievements ahead of a major Communist Party meeting this weekend.
The Party Congress is widely expected to result in Mr Xi being given an unprecedented third term in office, making him the first leader to serve more than 10 years since dictator chairman Mao Zedong.
