I am deeply cynical about wellness. The term itself irks me. Is the world a better place since someone – probably in marketing – came up with a term for what we seek when we spend money to feel good?

Fortunately, Banyan Tree Krabi appears to have had someone like me in mind when it designed its “wellness sojourn” at Tubkaek Beach in Thailand’s south-west.
