Ishigaki, Japan | Whoever wins the Australian election on May 21 has been invited to travel to Tokyo just days after to meet US President Joe Biden and the leaders of Japan and India for a Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) summit.
The White House said on Wednesday (Thursday AEST) that Mr Biden would visit South Korea and Japan from May 20 to 24 to strengthen ties with its two Asian allies. It will be his first trip to the region since taking office last year.
