Australia’s critical mineral push will make world safer: Taiwan
Taiwan foreign minister Joseph Wu said the democratic world would feel “much more comfortable” if Australia could become a global player in critical minerals to lessen reliance on China.
But Mr Wu, speaking to a group of international reporters on Tuesday, said Australia must be prepared play the long game, explaining that Taiwan’s dominance in the semiconductor chip manufacturing industry was the product of 40 years of investment and support.
