Shake-up means you can become a chartered accountant without a degree

School-leavers without a university degree will be able to become chartered accountants under a shake-up of accreditation rules that will recognise on-the-job training in addition to academic achievement.
Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand – the association with the power to add “chartered” to an accountant’s title – will launch an apprenticeship-like training scheme in February.
