The internet remains a scary place for young women, who are the most common targets of abuse and rape and death threats.

A survey of 1000 Australian women shows that most (76 per cent) of women under 30 have experienced online harassment, ranging from insults to cyber stalking, threats of violence and "revenge porn". Almost half of all women have been targets.
