Law's 'culture of silence' on sexual harassment exposed

Women solicitors and barristers say the deeply entrenched hierarchical culture of the legal profession has led to widespread, unreported sexual harassment in courts, barristers' chambers and law firms.

Many women in the legal profession can relate to the six who alleged former High Court justice Dyson Heydon sexually harassed them, but most have stayed silent out of fear it will harm their career prospects.
