Israel Folau claims his contract was illegal

Israel Folau has accused Rugby Australia and the NSW Waratahs of putting a stranglehold on his career by blocking him from playing for the Wallabies or in Super Rugby after he was fired for sharing his strong religious views on social media.
Mr Folau claimed the rugby tribunal's ruling to tear up his player contract was unenforceable because it puts unreasonable restraints on his ability to play again.
