Companies not as prepared against harassment as they think they are
Employers are failing to carry out training or implement adequate policies on sexual harassment, putting them at risk of intervention from the human rights commission or being dragged through the courts, a survey has found.
Two-thirds of large and medium-sized companies have no clear policies on sexual harassment and have no culture of reporting such incidents, a study from human resources specialist firm Citation Group found.
