Mystery surrounds the resignation of two executives from Kingsgate Consolidated after they abruptly departed the junior Australian gold miner after just a few months in their roles.
Goldminer Kingsgate Consolidated says its newly installed chief executive and finance head left the company due to differences with the board over the best strategy for the junior producer.
Kingsgate chairman, Ross Smyth-Kirk , confirmed the company had sacked chief executive Geoff Day and chief financial officer Austen Perrin while they were still on probation.
