The chief executive of packaging group Pact, Sanjay Dayal, knows a secret or two about packaging, recycling and waste that would shock most Australians.

The plastic packaging manufacturer was founded by Rich lister Raphael Geminder in 2002, following a management buyout of assets from Visy, the company owned by Geminder’s father-in-law, the late Richard Pratt.
