Vice chancellor to vice regal: Margaret Gardner is new Vic governor

Margaret Gardner is set to swap the title of vice chancellor to one with vice-regal overtones after being named Victoria’s 30th governor.
Australia’s longest-running vice chancellor, Professor Gardner has helmed Monash University since 2014 and RMIT for the nine years before that.
