A boardroom veteran jailed for corruption has failed to lessen his time in prison, which he had argued was too extreme after having turned informer and worn a wire.
Queensland’s Court of Appeal maintained that Wayne Myers – a former lobbyist, good mates with top politicians, and who had served on public and government boards – had already received substantial cuts to a sentence for his actions.
