In the 12 months to June this year, 7.9 million Australians aged 14 and above shopped on Amazon at least once, up from 6.8 million the year before, data published by research firm Roy Morgan shows.

Investment bank Goldman Sachs estimates that Amazon Australia’s turnover will reach $6.5 billion this year. Meanwhile, the number of products available on the local platform already exceeds 200 million.
