The skills and values that will define long-term success

Potential students are getting younger – and they’re looking for a strong overall return on their investment.

When John Reed, the long-time visionary CEO and chairman of Citicorp, accepted yet another award recognising his eminence in the 1990s global banking sector, he told the audience that business schools perform a “useful function in sorting potential hires”.

“The schools sort out from the general population those who are more ambitious, more energetic, more willing to subject themselves to two years without income,” Reed said.
