Sydney Uni turns to US giant for postgrad courses
As universities globally scramble to attract students after the COVID-19 disruption, the University of Sydney has chosen US-based for-profit edtech giant 2U to offer online postgraduate degrees.
The university will launch four online postgraduate degrees, beginning with a master of data science and a master of project and program management, with classes expected to start in February 2023. The university will subsequently offer postgraduate degrees in cybersecurity and data analytics. The new partnership aims to leverage the huge demand for flexible online learning, a trend enhanced by the pandemic.
