A new review into university-based teacher education will focus on how to attract the best and brightest as well as older and more experienced candidates as part of the education minister’s ambitions to lift the academic performance of Australian kids within a decade.
Education Minister Alan Tudge announced the new review on Thursday saying teacher quality was the single most important factor in improving academic standards.
