Employers say an enthusiasm for life-long learning is top of their hiring wish list. These children are getting on the upskill bandwagon as early as possible.

When Jane Livesey chats with other high school parents about their children, there’s one question on everyone’s lips: what can my child do to AI-proof their career?

“It’s every dinner party conversation,” says Livesey, who was announced as Microsoft’s new Australia and New Zealand managing director on Friday. “What skills, which jobs should they be doing? And what should they be learning at university?”
