Leaders who thought before the pandemic that people’s personal and professional lives were entirely separate would have had their beliefs tested by the COVID-19 lockdowns.

If our smartphones had blurred these boundaries before the pandemic forced us to work from home, then the sight of a colleague’s child bursting onto our computer screens during a Zoom call was enough to shatter them.
