Adam Cranston and Jay Onley, the architects of one of Australia’s largest tax frauds, have each been sentenced to 15 years in prison, six years after the Plutus Payroll scam came to light.
Justice Anthony Payne in the NSW Supreme Court on Tuesday sentenced Onley, a former professional snowboarder, and Cranston, 36, to non-parole periods of 10 years apiece for their leading roles in the $105.6 million fraud.
