A husband and wife associated with a Sydney formwork subcontractor, and who once owned a $14 million trophy home, are facing allegations they were part of a scheme that scammed creditors and the tax office of millions of dollars.
Eastside Formwork liquidators are suing Dane and Connie Stojic for almost $9 million, including more than $6.5 million owed to the Australian Taxation Office, after accusing them of insolvent trading, uncommercial payments and breaching director duties.

This was incorrect. When Ms Stojic purchased the Maroubra property in 2013 for $2.3 million it did not have five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a six-car garage, gym, swimming pool or cinema. The amenities were constructed over time as part of a rebuild.
