Got an SMSF worth less than $500k? Think again, ASIC says

The corporate regulator is urging people with self-managed superannuation funds with balances below $500,000 to think carefully about whether they might get better returns in an industry or retail fund.

ASIC Commissioner Danielle Press said the regulator has previously looked closely funds below $200,000.
