Investing in property for yield has never looked so unattractive

Ending negative gearing on property investments remains in the politically too-hard basket, but Labor governments around the country have been taking the sword to property investors.

Rather than dealing a fatal blow – and scrapping negative gearing would undoubtedly be one – it’s more a case of death by a thousand cuts, all combining to kill off investing in property for yield.
