Only 53 per cent of Australians with a taxable income over $1 million give to charity compared to 90 per cent in the US, and a new campaign will target women to boost national generosity.

She Gives has financial supporters including Perpetual and Rich Lister Terry Snow’s Snow Foundation, and an advisory group that includes Reserve Bank of Australia director Carol Schwartz. It intends to encourage women not only to give, but also to talk about it publicly, and build better data on how they do so differently to men.
