Andrew and Nicola Forrest’s Minderoo Foundation has committed $70 million to help bushfire fighting and relief efforts.
The biggest single contribution to date includes $50 million for a Fire Fund project, which Minderoo says will work on a “long-term blueprint for fire resilience”. The couple want to grow this fund to $500 million with the help of other donors.
