Why Elon Musk’s robotaxis will have to share the road – or disappear
The day after Tesla revealed its driverless Cybercab, the company’s stock dropped 9 per cent. Seismic shifts in transportation happen slowly and need more than just vehicles.

It would be overly simplistic to contend that Tesla’s announcement flopped or failed to meet the market’s expectations. However, it likely confirmed for Wall Street what those of us working in the mobility industry have known for a long time: while driverless vehicles will bring about a seismic shift in transportation, the change will happen slowly.
