Whatever happened to the travel camera?

We hadn’t even turned on Canon’s travel-friendly EOS M50 MK II camera when we thought we already had an answer to this week’s question: Should you even bother packing a travel camera nowadays?

We hadn’t turned it on because we couldn’t turn it on. We’d plugged the camera’s USB port into a charger for a few hours, but it hadn’t charged. It turns out, the thing doesn’t support USB charging, which is utter madness for a travel camera.
