London | A British judge has aimed both barrels at Australian computer scientist Craig Wright, issuing a hard-hitting judgment that dismissed his claim to be bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto as based on “lies and forged documents”.
High court judge James Mellor had already ruled in March that Dr Wright, despite eight years of courtroom campaigning, was not the enigmatic and pseudonymous bitcoin creator. But in his full judgment, released on Monday, he was withering of the 53-year-old and his claims.
